Biography

Joyce Charlene Hood
Mrs. Hood was born June 29, 1928 in Youngsport, the daughter of Arvil
Guess Turnbo and Mary Elizabeth Reaves Turnbo. She married John Hood,
August 17, 1944 in Youngsport. She was a member of First Baptist Church
in Belton. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and three brothers and one
sister.

Survivors include three sons Troy Hood and wife Glena, Terry
Hood and wife Janet, Tommy Hood and wife Jo Ann all of Belton;
one brother Mickey Turnbo of Bear, Delaware and one sister Judy
Dobbins of Salado; six grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
