Belton—Funeral services for Brittany Marie Cehand, 15, of Moffat, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with minister Mattie Cox officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Miss Cehand died Friday, February 26, 2010 at a Temple Hospital.

Brittany was born June 21, 1994 in Temple the daughter of Charles and Dianne Cehand. She attended Raye Allen Elementary, Travis Middle School and Temple High School before moving to the Belton where she attended Belton High School. She enjoyed classes in the Special Education Programs in both school districts. She was a member of Faith Temple Lighthouse Church in Temple.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandmother Charlotte Cehand in 2009.

Survivors include her parents of Moffat, sister Hannah Cehand of Moffat, grandfather Marvin Cehand of Belton and grandparents Fred and Wilma Frerichs of Temple and great grandmother Ruth Drake of Belton.

Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
