Leon Cantu, Jr.

Funeral services for Leon Cantu, Jr., 74, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 , at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with father Kim officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery .

Mr. Cantu died Sunday, December 10, 2017 in Temple .

Mr. Cantu was born June 2, 1943 in Bastrop , Texas , the son of Leon, Sr. and Nestora (Gonzales) Cantu. He married Angeline Mynar, in May of 1991 in Temple .

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janie Morales.

Survivors include his wife Angeline Cantu of Belton; three daughters, Sandy Muro and husband John of Temple, Wendy Schlegel of Katy and Patricia Thompson of Wisconsin ; a son, Steve Blaha of Belton; four sisters, Elizabeth Lizcano, Martha Ortega, Josie Del Toro and Mary Ortega; twelve grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 12, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM with a rosary recited at 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
