BELTON -- Services for Ruby Faye Wright, 89, of Belton will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Brother Billy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

She passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20 at her home in Belton, Texas.
Mrs. Wright was born July 6, 1927 in Bell County at Summers Mill Community to Frankie Ward and Cynthia Estelle Ivey Ward. She attended the Armstrong School.  She lived in Georgetown before moving to Belton in 1968. She was a homemaker and also owned and managed several restaurants. She was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Wright, her parents, and a grandson James Basil O'Mallan IV.
She is survived by her husband Ray Petty of Belton; a daughter, Helen Wright O'Mallan of Salado;  four grandchildren; granddaughter Nicole Rose O'Mallan of Guam; grandsons Ian O'Mallan of Waco, James Basil O'Mallan V of England. She is also survived by grandson Brandon O'Mallan and wife Brittney Cabrera and great grand daughter Caidence Rose of Guam.
and sisters Joyce Johnson of Waco, Willie Bounds of Belton; Sue LaRocque of Temple and Betty Taylor of Belton.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family in Bell County.
