Lester Hays

Lester Hays, 77, of Temple passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in a Temple hospital.

Services for Mr. Hays will be private at a later date.

Lester was born on February 8, 1939 in Rosedale, Missouri. He moved to the Central Texas area from St. Louis, Missouri in 1986. He worked as a truck driver at McGuire Trucking in Temple. Mr. Hays married Judith Wallis in St. Louis on July 4, 1984. He was a member of the New Day Fellowship Church in Temple.

Survivors include his wife Judith of Temple, son Thomas Milan of Moody, daughters Tina Solarski of Temple, Laura Ringis of St. Robert, Missouri, Leslie Ried of St. Louis, Missouri and Yolanda Hays of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
