Funeral service for Mary Lucille (Dykes) Savoldi, 57, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve Saucer officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-7 PM Friday evening with a Rosary following at 7 PM.

Mrs. Savoldi died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in a Temple Hospital.

Mrs. Savoldi was born, December 24, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Jimmy Stuckey Dykes and Norma (Pilkington) Dykes. She married Joe Savoldi December 12, 1981 in Birmingham. She moved to central Texas in 2003 from Colorado and had lived in New Mexico prior. She worked for Belton High School as the assistant principal's secretary for 14 years. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Joe Savoldi of Temple, son Joe W. Savoldi of Temple and daughter Christina Gober and husband Gary of Temple. two brothers James Dykes of Mobile, Alabama and Bill Dykes of Helena, Montana; one sister Dr. Elizabeth DeGive of Georgia and one grandson Elijah Gober.

Memorials may be made the the BEEFScholarship Fund at Belton High School.
