Dora Louise Dossey

Graveside services for Dora Louise Dossey, 71, of Gatesville will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Flint Creek Cemetery .

Mrs. Dossey died Friday March 25, 2016 in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Dossey was born December 6, 1944 the daughter of Louis and Lena Adell (Sims) Morisset. She married William Dossey July 1, 1960 in Belton. She was a guard with the prison in Gatesville for many years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of Flat Baptist Church .

Survivors include her husband William (Jim) Dossey of Gatesville, son David Dossey of Temple and daughter Brenda Tarnow of Gatesville; two brothers Phillip Morisset of Galveston and Mike Webster of Temple; five sisters Deborah Faucett of Rogers, Ramona Roberts of Gatesville, Vela Linkinhoker of Moody, Frances Zipprian of Rosenberg and Jean Reeder of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation following the service on Monday at the Flat Baptist Church .
