Graveside services for Barbara D. (Ratliff) Arnold, 77, of Houston, formerly of Nolanville, will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville with Rev. Ron Davidge officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday from 12:30-1:30 at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Arnold died Wednesday in a Houston hospital.

Mrs. Arnold was born November 13, 1938 in Bell County the daughter of Ray Irving Ratliff and Ollie Lou (Cosper) Ratliff. She married Sam Houston Arnold, October 27, 1956 at the Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton. She worked for 27 years with the Alief Independent School District. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Missouri City and enjoyed the Prayer Circle of Alief Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002 and one son Kirk Edward Arnold in 2008.

She is survived by one son, Larry Arnold of Houston.
