Services for Thomas Gene Smethers, 24, of Gatesville will at 2:00 p.m.Tuesday, Nov 3, 2015 at Dossman Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smethers was born September 30, 1991 in Temple to Sally Fowler Barrese. He was a construction worker. Survivors include two children, Aden Smethers and Diamond Smethers of Gatesville. His mother, Sally Fowler Barrese and step-father Anthony Barrese of Gatesville; Three sisters, Sabine Schott of IL, Heather Worsdale of Belton, Megan Smethers of Grandbury. grandparents, Charles Tenery, Donna Tenery and Jim Fowler.
