Rose Burdine

Services for Rose Marie Burdine, 68, of Belton will be Saturday August 1, 2015 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas. Visitation will be Friday July 31, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Rose passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at a Temple hospital. She was born August 20, 1946 in Lockland, Ohio to Robert Lee Whitaker and Louise Ethel (Ward) Whitaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son Jimmy Burdine; three brothers, Wendel Whitaker, Robert Glen Whitaker and Joe Whitaker and a sister Mary Hines. Survivors include three sons, Joseph Burdine, Jayme Burdine and Mitch Burdine; a daughter, Melinda Taylor; two brothers, George Whitaker and Carl Whitaker; two sisters, Barbara Little and Janice Douglas; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
