John Filmore Colvin

John Filmore Colvin, 69, of Belton died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Colvin was born June 21, 1944, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of John Thomas Colvin and Fredia Marie Schindelbeck Colvin. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Colvin worked for many years at All Steel in Illinois. In Texas he was a long time employ of Curtis Tate Construction. He married Barbara Secor May 1, 1999 in Defiance, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a son Adam Wilbanks. Survivors include his wife Barbara Colvin of Belton, three sons Phillip Colvin of Illinois, Bill Wilbanks of Temple, Keith John Donley of Belton; two daughters LeeAnn Colvin of Illinois and Tiaffany Eck and husband Joe of Belton; one brother James H. Colvin of Illinois, and two sisters Rose Cruz and Edith Alleman both of Illiniois and 11 grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
