Belton--- Funeral services for Jimmy Hill, 71, of Moffat, will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Bob Champion officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery in Moffat. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Jimmy passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home in Moffat. He was born September 8, 1941 in Heidenhiemer, the son of David Benjamin Hill and Alma Ruth (Alsup). Jimmy married his wife Paula Hill, March 15, 1962 in Temple. He has lived here his whole life and was a member of Midway United Pentecostal Church. He worked in the propane industry for over 50 years, retiring from Star-Tex Proprane where he was very dedicated to his customers. He loved showing pigs and livestock with his grandchildren and was a member of the Belton FFA Booster Club and was a avid NASCAR fan. He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Paula; one brother, David Hill; two sisters, Dale Dewberry and Anna Kotrola. Survivors include one son, Bubba Hill; one daughter, Sheila Southerland; one brother, Burl Hill; two sisters, Wanda Oliver and Dixie Doss; five grandchildren, Jimmy David Colacino, Dustin Hill, Terra Hill, Dillan Hill, Courtney Colacino; and six great-grandchildren, Storie, Bristol, Paiden, Pacie, Kason, and Easton.
