Modean Norman

Modean Casey Norman passed away on April 16, 2010 at the age of 90 in Corpus Christi. She was born October 13, 1919 to Mimmie Irwin & Lee Casey in Lott, Texas. Modean was raised in central Texas and graduated in 1939 from Yoe High School in Cameron. She married Shelley Norman on January 16, 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband Shelley Norman; daughter Nancy Norman; and brothers Otho Casey, Oran Casey, and Harvey Casey. She is survived by her daughter Shelley Jan (Norman) McKay; grandchildren Megan McKay, Morgan McKay and Reed Norman all of Corpus Christi; sister Marie Patzke of Rosebud and brother Roy Casey of Huntsville. Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin, with Pastor Oscar Smart officiating.
