Billy Gene Mcguffey

Private services for Billy Gene McGuffey, Sr., age 77, of Belton will be held at a later date. Mr. McGuffey died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky August 23, 1932 to Gaylon Richard and Cozzie (Huffine) McGuffey. He married Betty Jean Holden on December 23, 1957 in San Saba. He worked Central Freight in Lampasas and Killeen for 30 years. He moved to Belton 28 years ago from Lampasas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Killeen. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean McGuffey of Belton, 3 sons, Billy McGuffey of Kempner, David McGuffey of Marble Falls and Mark McGuffey of Lampasas, 3 daughters, Donna Frey of Belton and Brenda McGuffey of Belton, 1 brother, Harlan Ray McGuffey of Florida, 1 sister, Frances Sharp of New Albany, Indiana, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
