Georgia Mae Cox

Mrs. Cox was born June 17, 1947 in Killeen, Texas to James Wayne and Susie Thelma (Pruitt) Preece. She married Charlie M. Cox on March 10, 1966 in Belton. She attended the Baptist Church. For a number of years she worked at Belton High School in the food service department and most recently was lay-a-way manager at the Temple Wal-mart for 7 years. Survivors include her husband, Charlie M. Cox, Sr. of Temple, a son, Charlie M. Cox Jr. of Moody, 2 daughters, Charlotte Rodriguez of Cameron, North Carolina and Tammie Booze of Lake Jackson, 2 brothers, James Wayne Preece of Kempner and Edwin Ray Preece of Belton, 4 sisters, Thelma Welke of Traverse City, Michigan, Elizabeth Tegler of St. Louis, Missouri, Kay Benjamin of Copperas Cove and Linda Adams of Copperas Cove, 10 grandchildren.
