Funeral services for Anita Gonzales Castillo, 91, of Belton, will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Castillo died Thursday, August 20, 2026, at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Castillo was born August 3, 1935 in Salado, the daughter of Leonardo Gonzales and Juanita Martinez Gonzales. She married Rogelio "Roy" Castillo, October 1, 1954, in Edinburg. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church but on occasion visited Belton Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008 and one daughter, Esther Castillo and all her siblings.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Castillo Jr, Rey Castillo, and Daniel Castillo; two daughters Mary Castillo and Sylvia Castillo; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and anticipating the arrival of a fifth great-great-grandchild.
