Arthur John Carr

Arthur John Carr, 97, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple. No local services are planned at this time.

Arthur was born on April 17, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur Robert and Agnes Marian (William) Carr. He was raised in Lebanon, Missouri and attended schools in Lebanon. Mr. Carr enlisted in the US Navy in 1948 and served proudly before being honorably discharged in 1957. After his military career, Arthur began his career at Bendix. Retired as a Manager for Vaught in 1995. He married Mary J Murphy on September 28,1951, and they were married for 58 years before she passed away. He later married Judy C. McCright on December 2, 2010.

Mr. Carr was preceded in death by Mary Joyce Carr. He is survived by wife Judy Carr, son Arthur Edward Carr, and daughter Linda Marian Carr.
