Brian Wade Menzie

Brian Menzie, 53, of Houston passed suddenly of natural causes at his home on Wednesday April 15, 2026.

Funeral services for Brian will be held on Saturday April 25, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Dossman Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Reeves as the officiant.

Brian was born Christmas Day, 1972 in Amarillo, Texas, to Thomas and Karen (Greulich) Menzie. Brian was raised in Morgan’s Point Resort and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and went on to graduate from Belton High School in 1991, where he was part of the swim team. After high school, Brian graduated from Texas A&M University and became a teacher for nearly 20 years before shifting to the 3D printing industry at Stratasys.

Brian married Deborah Reeves on January 4, 1997, in Temple, Texas and they were blessed with 29 years of marriage. Brian was a proud father of his two sons, Brandt and Ethan.

Brian is survived by his loving wife Deborah of Houston; sons Brandt and Ethan; father and mother Thomas and Karen Menzie of Belton; brother Matthew Menzie and his wife Wen with niece Gwynneth and nephew Zachary of San Antonio; and sister Patricia Bryne and her husband Bob with niece Sydney and nephew Liam of Park City, Utah.

Brian was a rock to those in his life. He had an amazing gift to love people. He would draw them in with his wit and sassiness like a magnetic force. Rough edges and all, he was the spouse, father, brother, son… friend, that you could always count on when you needed help – he would be there in a moment’s notice and stay through the end. His enthusiasm for life and celebration, combined with a gift for foolishness, made everyone around him happy and thankful to be in his life.

Visitation for Brian will be held on Friday April 24, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to support the Belton Education Foundation.
