Carmen Joyce Woodrum

Funeral services for Carmen Joyce Woodrum, 88, of Belton, will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, 10:00 AM, at Dossman Funeral Chapel in Belton with Tommy Bever officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation 5:30-7:30 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woodrum died Tuesday in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Woodrum was born in Tennessee Valley in Bell County, the daughter of William Cannon Talley and Stella Moore Talley. She attended Belton schools. She married Herschel Wayne Woodrum, November 11, 1960, in Belton. She worked as a teachers aid at Tyler Elementary and later at Central Elementary in the Belton School District. She was a long time member of the Belton Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.

Survivors include one son, Edwin Woodrum; one daughter Robyn Bracewell; four grandchildren, Traci Nelon, Bryan Woodrum, Garrett Hosch, and Ryan Hosch; and two great grandchildren Judson Woodrum and Raelynn Woodrum.
