Clinton Landis Staley

Clinton Landis Staley entered into eternal rest on August 9, 2026.  He was born on February 13, 1954, in Waycross, Georgia to father Robert Staley Sr. and mother Marie Wisenhunt.

During Clinton's childhood he faced his fair share of trials and tribulations but found salvation in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He carried his love of the Lord throughout his life, and though he may have stumbled in his walk with Christ his devotion never wavered. 

Clinton enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.  As a known man about town he could typically be found at the local beer joint, sweet talking beautiful women and two steppin' around the dance floor.  Clinton carried this fun loving and adventurous spirit with him until the day he entered the kingdom of heaven.

John 11:25: Jesus said He is the resurrection and life.  Whoever believes in Him will live even after they die.

Clinton is survived by his children Brian Hubard, Clinton (Mugsy) Staley, Jason Staley, Renee Meeks, Ashley Mitcham, Justin Gile and Kassandra Carson, as well as siblings Douglas Staley, Sandra Foster and Timothy Robinson, along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loved ones.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Robert Staley Jr. and Darryl Staley.

He was loved and he will be missed!
