Cynthia Holt Ainsworth

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Ainsworth died Friday, December 26, 2025 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Mrs. Ainsworth was born March 2, 1957 in Anahuac, Texas the daughter of J. D. Holt and Betty Sue Johnson Holt. She lived in Louisiana for many years before moving to her family's home in Belton.

In her golden years, her favorite pastime was arts and crafts with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother Betty Sue Bounds, son Jason Holt and wife Cayla; two daughters Celena Phelps, and Stephanie Deeringer and husband Justin; one brother J. D. Holt; three sisters Elaine Meyer, Loraine McClure and Joanie Chambellan; eight grandchildren, Hailey, Jayden, Jude, Harrison, Abbigale, Tyler, Hannah and Katie and one great grandchild.
