Debra Spence

Graveside services for Debra (Simonds) Spence, 58, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the North Belton Cemetery. with Travis Burleson officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spence died Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Spence was born September 9, 1965, in Belton, the daughter of Rodney and Janis (Turnbo) Simonds.   She was a graduate of Belton High School where she was a twirler for the Marching 100 Band.   She married Jay Spence, August 5, 1989 in Belton.   She was a long time member of Miller Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Jay Spence; her mother Janis Simonds; two daughters, Brandy Stanford and husband David; and Samantha Shiplett and husband Dustin; one brother Rodney Simonds, Jr and wife Shannon; and three grandchildren, Noah, Emily and Skylar.
