Dorothy Faye Jamison

Dorothy (Dot) Wingo Jamison of Temple, passed away February 13, 2023. Born August 24, 1957 in Dallas, daughter of Stephen Wingo Jr. and Ruth (Mehlin) Wingo. Dot was a loving, partner mother and sister. She wore many hats and enjoyed a variety of careers. Dot enjoyed spending time with family and friends, barbecuing and camping or just sitting around the table enjoying a cold beer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen I. Wingo & Ruth Mehlin; son, Jimmy Don Kilgore; and sister, JoJo Carroll.
Survivors include Dot's life partner, Carlton Brooks of Temple; one son, William Kilgore of Oklahoma; brothers, Stephen Wingo, Wayne Wingo, Robert (Bo) Wingo, Billy Wingo, Mike Donaldson, Randy Donaldson; sisters, Karen Spoonts, Linda Ward, Tootie Wingo, Marydell Wingo and 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 18th at 3:00pm
