Elizabeth Sivley Bounds

A visitation for Elizabeth Sivley Bounds, 87, of Moffat, will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bounds died Thursday, June 9, 2022 in a Temple Hospital.

Mrs. Bounds was born October 7, 1934, in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Richard and Hilda (Braun) Sivley.  She married Edgar Bounds, April 19, 1980, in Fredericksburg.

She was a devoted volunteer for the Moffat Community Center and a member of the Moffat Volunteer Fire Department.  She was at one time a member of the Pilots Association in California.   She was co-manager of the Moffat Water Supply.  She was member of Unity Church in Temple.

Mrs. Bounds was a talented artist, avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry.

Survivors include her husband Edgar Bounds, one son Mike D. McIllvain, one daughter Susan Lee Wagner, and three grandchildren, Shelly Elizabeth Wagner, Elmer Catamora and Mariah Eulabeth Catamora McIllvain.

Memorials may be made to the Moffat Community Center, the Moffat Cemetery, the Moffat Fire Department, or the charity of your choice.
