Fernanda Rodriguez Ruiz

Fernanda Rodriguez Ruiz of Belton, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on November 16th, 2025.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home with the Rosary to follow at 7pm.

Funeral service will be at 2pm on Friday, November 21st, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Belton, Texas with burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Fernanda was born in Nueva Rosita, Mexico on May 10th, 1941, to Maria De Jesus Rodriguez.

Fernanda married Isidro Ruiz on July 30th, 1988, at Christ the King Catholic Church and were together until his death on October 16th, 2017. She liked the simple things in life, cooking, tending to her plants, and spoiling her dogs. But mostly she loved her friends and family, her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fernanda is survived by her daughter Rebecca “Becky” Suniga Grimaldo of Belton, Texas, her grandchildren; Beatrice Grimaldo, Fernando Grimaldo, Olivia Grimaldo, and Monica Gregerson, and her great grandchildren; Joseph and Joshua Hernandez.

Fernanda is preceded in death by her mother and her husband.
