Gladys (Cartwright) Crain

Graveside services for Gladys F. Crain, 80, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2026 at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crain died Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Crain was born May 4, 1946, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Walter Kenneth Cartwright and Bessie Edith Chalk Cartwright. She married Joe Crain in 1964. Mrs. Crain worked as a bartender for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and three children, Joe Everett Crain, Bobbie Jo Bennett and Ricky Everett Crain.

Survivors include one brother Ronnie Morrison and two sisters Connie Conner and Carol Ann Blair, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
