Gloria Estela Garza, 90, of Belton, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 25, at 6-8pm. Services will be on Thursday, February 26, at 2pm. Both will take place at Dossman Funeral Home, with burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Gloria was born on November 10, 1935, in Benavides, TX., to parents Agripin and Juanita Rodriguez.

Gloria married the love of her life, Bobby Garza, young in life, and they started their family. She loved being a stay-at-home mother. She took much pride in it. As she got older, she loved being a grandmother and then a great and great great grandmother.Family was her world. But she also took joy in other things. She loved music. She loved playing the guitar for her family. She loved nature and being out in nature. When she couldn’t be out in nature, she would watch Natural Geographic and other nature shows.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Garza; her brothers, Raul Rodriguez,Jose Rodriguez, Crespin Rodriguez, Uvaldo Rodriguez, and Johnny Rodriguez; and her sisters, Alicia Contreras, and Antonio Deleon.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Garza and Joe Garza; her daughters Beatrice Diaz, Mary Anne Espino, Louise Patton, Debbie Martinez; her brothers, Agripin Rodriguez;and her sisters, Julia Martinez, Margaret Reyes, and Bernarda Medlin; 18grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
