Helene Elly Lister

Mrs. Lister died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Mercy House in Temple.

Mrs. Lister was born December 6, 1928 in Schwenten, Germany, the daughter of Otto Paul and Helene (Rateijezach) Loechel.  She married Vernon Lister October 3, 1956 in Anbach, Germany.   They made their home in Bell County in 1957.  She worked at Ft. Hood for many years.   Mrs. Lister owned and operated with her husband  Vernon's Place barbecue restaurant before retiring in 2004.

She was preceded in death by one grandson in 2002  and her husband in 2006.

Mrs. Lister is survived by one son Klaus Lister of Germany and three grandchildren.
