Irene Aguallo

Irene Aguallo, 79, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, in Temple, Texas. Her visitation will be on January 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place the following day, January 10, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at the same location. Irene will be laid to rest at North Belton Cemetery following the service.

Irene loved life. She worked at St. Vincent De Paul for over 20 years, which stands as one of her proudest accomplishments. Her love for social engagement was evident in her hobbies; she enjoyed playing bingo, dining out, and visiting with friends and family, activities that brought warmth not only to her heart but to those around her.Irene's life was characterized by her quiet, kind, and loving nature, which left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her four daughters: Diane Ribeiro, Donna Benavidez, Dora Miller and husband Rick, and Dominique Escarciga and husband Gabriel; her grandchildren, Angie Dickey Homan, Christina Dickey Davenport, Shane Dickey, Amanda Irene Brummett, Victoria Hernandez Nichols, Catherine Hernandez Ford, Nichole Lea Miller, William Arthur Miller, Alyssa Mendoza, Alexa Escarciga, and Gavin Escarciga; and 29 great grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Catarina Luna, her husband Arthur Hernandez Aguallo, and her sisters Mary Sunday "Maruca" Ybarra, Mary Jane Del Castillo, and Margaret Vaughn; and her brother Paul Luna, Sr. They welcomed her back into their arms with love.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her gentle spirit. Irene Aguallo’s legacy of kindness and love will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she leaves behind.
