Jackie Ned Hightower

Jackie Ned Hightower, who was 83 years old, of Belton, Texas passed on September 8, 2022.  He was born in Lufkin, Texas on February 6th, 1939, to Tuck Sparks & Helen Grace Hightower.

He married Lou Ann Colborn on July 23rd, 1976, Waco Texas.

Jackie was a lifetime member of IBEW Local 72, an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed playing football, cooking and the Blue Jay RV club.

He is survived by children, Kendall & Michele Hightower, Carlton & Tami Jo Hightower, Karen & Tony Taylor and bonus daughters Angela Glanz, Michelle Talley and Valerie Ferguson, 11 Grandchildren: Mason Hightower, Jordan Hightower, Lauren Gamboa, Jeremiah Henderson, Danielle Hightower, Megan Rivera, David Talley, Jacob Talley, Jason Boothby, Brittany Boothby and Jeremy Boothby and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Lou Ann Hightower who passed away on 7/2/2022, and his brothers Bill & Dean Hightower

Visitation will be Friday 9/16/2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Dossman Funeral Home

He will be buried at a private service at Moffat Cemetery next to his wife.
