James Michael Clark

James M. Clark of Temple, TX., went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2026.

He was born February 19, 1945, in Rockford Illinois, to James L. and Lynda Healey Clark. After graduating from Bellevue High School in Nebraska, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Temple College and retired from the VA Hospital in civil service administration.

James (Jim) is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Locklear, their daughter Jenny and husband Jonathan Featherston and their children, Averianna, Cademon, and Graham; Their son Justin and wife MJ and their children Kayla, Natalie, Bernadette, Stella, and Vada.

Our James (Jim), Dad and Grandpa was a man of few words, but always loved his family, history, VW’s, arrowheads, and stars. These last two years were full of challenges, but also full of laughter, hugs, handholding, walks, and family visits. He demonstrated a strong will to live courageously and bravely. Jim went home to Jesus and is now fully restored.

Private services were held on Saturday, June 25, 2026, at the graveside.
