Janelle Paul, age 69, passed away at her home in Belton, Texas, on October 20, 2026. She was born on January 3, 1957, in Electra, Texas, and graduated from Troy High School.
Janelle was a kind and generous woman who experienced many adventures throughout her life. During her marriage to her beloved husband, Jeff Paul, who served in the United States Army, she had the opportunity to travel to many countries and states. During Jeff’s military service, they were stationed in Germany, Fort Hood, Texas, and Clarksville, Tennessee. These experiences allowed Janelle to see different parts of the world, experience new places, and create lasting memories alongside her husband.
Janelle will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and the life she shared with her husband and family. Her journey took her far beyond her Texas beginnings, and the memories she leaves behind will continue to be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
Janelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jeff Paul; her father, Lawrence Adams; her mother, Clara Belle Adams; and her brothers, David Adams, Orville Adams, and Doyle Adams.
She is survived by her sister, Madlyon Oppermann, and brother-in-law, Paul Oppermann; her brother, Harley Adams, and sister-in-law, Marla Adams; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service honoring Janelle’s life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Janelle will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Jeff, where they will share their final resting place.
Though Janelle’s passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her, her kindness, generosity, and the memories of the life she lived will remain in the hearts of her family and loved ones. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
