Jesse Clint Goss

Jesse Clint Goss, 68, of Belton, went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, June 14,2026. Jesse was born on March 28,1958, in a U.S. Army hospital in Vicenza, Italy, to parents Jesse Willard Goss and Ardeen Taylor Goss. He spent most of his childhood and grew up in West Jefferson, North Carolina and eventually relocated to Texas. After having been together for several years, he married the love of his life, JoAnn Salcido. They got married on 12/12/2012 at 12pm (a date that Jesse wouldn’t easily forget!).

Jesse was a licensed/certified Prosthetist and Orthotist. He was the proud owner of G & G Prosthetic Services (a veteran-owned and family-operated business). Jesse began his O & P career in 1977 in the United States Air Force. He received specialized training in orthotics and completed his B.S. degree prior to discharge in 1986. He attended the Northwestern University Prosthetic and Orthotic Program in 1988 and was certified by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1991. Jesse was also licensed by the State of Texas, having held the 13th license issued. He had over 45 of experience at the time of his death.

During the span of his career, he provided service to patients ranging in age from newborn to 100. Through hard work and commitment, Jesse’s #1 goal was to always provide the best possible outcome for every one of his patients and to help improve their quality of life. He provided service to a large pediatric population and loved those kids! Also, as a veteran himself, he recognized the service and sacrifices made by our military patients, both active duty and retired, and considered it an honor to provide them with the very best of care. His career was his passion!

Jess loved life and loved his family deeply! He loved music, his frogs, fishing, and absolutely loved hitting the road and riding his Harley. In his early years, he enjoyed playing golf and he loved to take to the sky and fly when he possessed his private pilot’s license.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters, Janis Goss Pennington and Wanda Goss Baker; his niece Heather Pennington; and his nephew, Brian Baker.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Marie Goss; daughter, Jessica Amber Howard (Brad); his son Brandon Jacob Goss; bonus daughter, Shavonne Marie Lamb (Dustin); bonus son, Shawn Michel Scheiblich (Kayci); grandchildren, Haley (Staton), Caleb (Natalie), Dyllan; bonus grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Ryan, Landon, Harper, and Pierson; two great grandsons, Levi and Easton. He is also survived by his niece Christy, several great nieces and nephews, and by his much-loved brother-in-law, Duane Pennington.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, October 9, 2026, at The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Services will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
