Joyce A. (Rumfield) Griggers

Joyce A. (Rumfield) Griggers, 71, of Morgan’s Point Resort, formerly of Dublin, died Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her home.   The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Griggers was born January 2, 1949 in Fort Worth, the daughter of Willis Ozias Rumfield and Nina Anderson Rumfield.  She grew up in Fort Worth and lived in several towns including Alvarado before settling in Dublin where she was an active member of the community.    She worked for many years at the Erath County Tax Assessor and retired in 2016 when she moved to Morgan’s Point Resort.

Mrs. Griggers is survived by her son Cody Griggers of New York; daughter Sherilyn Stephen of Morgan’s Point Resort; one sister Judy Kay McAtee of Fort Worth and two grandsons Jarrett and Jace Stephen.
