Judy Kay Moore

Graveside services for Judy Kay Moore, 72, of Temple, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation 9:00 AM to 12 Noon on Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moore died Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home in Temple.

Mrs. Moore was born October 9, 1953 in Temple, the daughter of John William Vickers and Ruby Viola Stevens Vickers. She worked most of her life as a housekeeper. Mostly she loved her children and grandchildren and her life partner of more than 25 years, Kyle Nutting. She also loved fishing and would fish for any type of fish.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Johnnie Nell (Vickers) Moore.

Survivors include her life partner Kyle Nutting; two sons Darrell Wright and wife Sandra, and Shane Moore and wife Tamborie; one daughter Melissa Moore; one brother Wiliam Vickers and wife Kathy; also Kyle's sister, Kathy Smith and her husband Craig; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
