Larry Paul Hatter Sr., age 60, passed away on September 28, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Born on November 3, 1964, in Belton, Texas, Larry spent his life rooted in the Central Texas community he called home.
Larry Attended Belton schools, Larry went on to build a career as a truck driver. His work took him across countless miles of open road, but his heart always remained close to home and family. Known for his charm, kindness, and unmistakable personality, Larry left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Larry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and rarely missed a game. Music was a constant companion in his life—whether playing softly in the background or turned up loud during long drives. He also enjoyed playing bingo and had a passion for treasure hunting, always chasing the thrill of discovery.
Family was central to Larry’s world. He is lovingly remembered by his sons Larry Hatter Jr. and Cole White; daughters Brianna Hubnik and Brittney Gelner; brothers Ricky Hatter and Tommy Hatter; sisters Mary Preece and Carol Stanley; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He now joins in rest his beloved parents, Dorothy Ballard and Logan Hatter; his son Daniel Hatter; daughter Crystal Hatter; sister Debbie Johnson; and brother James Hatter.
Larry’s warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who carry it forward.
