Marco Diego Ledesma

The family of Marco Diego Ledesma (Diegito, Lala), 35, of Temple, will receive family and friends for visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Diego peacefully passed away in his home in Temple on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born November 27, 1989, in Corpus Christi. He graduated from Belton High School in 2008.

He worked for Academy Sporting Goods in Temple as a Team Lead for 15 years. He was smart, funny, somewhat of a nerd, the most loving, caring, kind-hearted, respectful young man. He loved ALL animals, but mostly cats. His hobbies included fishing, camping, guns, knives, football (GO Patriots!), gaming, cards, the outdoors, going to the movies, and all genres of music, but his most favorite was being a momma’s boy and being teased by his little sisters. He wasn’t one for too many words, but you knew he was genuine and loved so BIG.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Leonor Moya, and Teodora Z. Ledesma (Grma Grma).

Survivors include his parents, Elsa and Elias Canava; father, Marco A. Ledesma; sisters, Parriz Ledesma, Mersadiez Anzualda, Aizlenn Canava, and Kristina Park; nieces and nephew, Zyiara Ortiz, Analeya Ortiz, Osiris Ortiz, and Leilani Natera; and aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
