Mozelle Jarosek

Letta Mozelle (Baker) Jarosek, 100, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at her home in Temple.

A funeral service for Mrs. Jarosek will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM at East Highway Baptist Church in Temple with Pastor Duane McCoy and Rev. Earnest Thompson officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the funeral service. She will be cremated.

Mozelle was born on May 8, 1926, in Heidenheimer, Texas to the late Charles and Ozella (Jackson) Baker. She was raised in and around the Oenaville area, graduating from Rosebud High School. She married Edward Jarosek in November of 1955 and worked as a nurse’s assistant at Olin E. Teague Hospital for 24 years before she retired. Mrs. Jarosek was a longtime member of East Highway Baptist Church in Temple.

Mrs. Jarosek was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by sons Joe Jarosek and his wife Vickie, and Johnny Jarosek and his wife Lisa, and daughter Donna Jarosek; grandchildren JD Jarosek and his wife Valerie, Matt Jarosek, Ryan Jarosek and his wife Jennifer, Ladyanne Horne, Charles Jarosek and his wife Jamie, Kanisha Jarosek, Kyle Letbetter and his wife Jana, and Traci Jarolik and her husband Kevin. Also surviving are 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
