Raymond Albert "Ray" Cuthbertson

Raymond Albert "Ray" Cuthbertson, 75, of Belton, passed away at his home on Friday, July 31, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
Private services will be held at the family's request.

Ray was born on August 6, 1950, in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Robert P. and Jean (McGee) Cuthbertson. He grew up in Millbury, Massachusetts where he attended local schools. In 1968, Ray enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War before receiving his discharge.

Following his military service, Ray began a distinguished 32-year career with the U.S. Civil Service at Fort Hood. He retired in 2009 as Building Manager, where he was responsible for the maintenance and operation of more than 100 buildings on the installation.

Ray married Ann Colorio on December 30, 1978, in Auburn, Massachusetts, and together they shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.
Ray will be remembered for his patriotism, strong work ethic, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He especially enjoyed restoring classic cars and proudly displaying them at local car shows. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Jean (McGee) Cuthbertson, sister Alana Hoar, sister Colleen Stanford, and brother Richard Cuthbertson.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Cuthbertson of Belton; his daughters, Jannell Parker and her husband, Chris, and Jennifer Branham; his grandsons, Michael Parker, Matthew Parker, and Julian Rodriguez and his extended family, Eric O'Braden and his wife, Cheri, their daughter, Emily Hohertz, and her husband, Hagen, and their son, Hollis; brother Robert Cuthbertson, sister Shelly Gannon, sister Darlene Adams, brother William Cuthbertson and brother Kevin Cuthbertson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends its sincere gratitude to all who provided Ray with care, support, and friendship throughout his illness.
