A Celebration of Life service for Delores Travis, 78, will be held at 6:30 PM, Monday July 7, 2025, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. 

Delores passed away and entered the gates of heaven, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at a Temple hospital.

Delores was born November 21, 1946, in Temple, the daughter of Clyde Wilson Anderson and Wanda Lavelle (Eldred) Anderson. She attended Temple High School. She attended Briggs Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, John Travis and one son, Mark Gibson.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Gibson and wife Cynthia, Shane Gibson and wife Jyl, and Rick Gibson and wife Neli; one daughter Jamie Hearell; two sisters, Sharon Formby and Dorothy Smith; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
