William Tex Burton

William Tex Burton, 65, of Temple, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Dossman Funeral Home is helping with arrangements.

William was born on October 2, 1959, to Texas Burton and Mildred Shelton in Killeen, TX.

He was a well-known figure around downtown Belton, as he rode his bike and talked to whoever he came across. He enjoyed being around people and riding his bike.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister Sandy Woodall and husband Paul, and three nephews, Ernest Southerland, III, Michael Southerland, and Christopher Southerland.
