Michael Wayne Bruggman

A memorial service for Michael Wayne Bruggman, 43, of Rogers, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 2, 2018, atthe Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center 3303 North 3rd Street Temple, Texas 76501 with Coach Grady Barganier officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour before the service, beginning at 10 AM Monday.

Mr. Bruggman died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Gatesville.

Mr. Bruggman was born August 3, 1974 in Temple, the son of Alan Wayne and Annette Ruth (Teague) Bruggman. He was a 1992 graduate of Academy High School. He attended Sam Houston State University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was construction supervisor and worked with HVAC, working all around central Texas as well as spending five years in St. Thomas.

Survivors include his father Alan W. Bruggman; mother and step father Annette and Thomas Romer; two brothers Shann Welcelean and wife Yvonne of Temple and Brandon Bruggman and wife Nikki of Kansas. Two sisters Lesa Rowell and husband Matt of Belton and Brittany Bruggman of Rogers. He was beloved "Uncle Mikey" to his eight nieces and nephews, Alan, Jarrett, Sadie, Samuel, David, Marshall, Zoey and Myrisha.
